Lita's "30-Minute Meals" Episode List

Read It Here (66k) (30mmmenus.zip attached below)

Lita has compiled an episode list combining the episode number info with the menu info for the individual episodes. This list can be quite useful for finding an episode in particular.

Flarn's "30-Minute Meals" FAQ

A Table Of Contents for "30-Minute Meals 2" (ISBN 1891105108)

Read It Here (120k) (thirtyminute2.zip attached below)

This is an unofficial table of contents for Rachael Ray's "30-Minute Meals 2" (Copyright 2003, Lake Isle Press, ISBN 1891105108). Ms. Ray had no part in the compilation of this table of contents and, as far as I know, has not seen it.

The preparation of this table of contents came from my own desire to have a complete table of contents for my copy of the book. I've decided to release this publicly for the benefit of the book's other readers.

"30-Minute Meals 2" was published with a table of contents but it's not any kind of an actual TOC. There are what may be termed "section headers" in the single-page table of contents in the front of the book. These can be seen in bold text within the table of contents within these pages. There are also three pages containing menus labeled as "Rachael's Favorites", "Meat-Free Meals" and "Yes, The Kids Will Eat It". However, as the book contains approximately 280 recipes, the organizational information in the front of the book is far from complete. The book is also touted as being arranged as a grouping of menus, none of which are listed anywhere. In this table of contents the recipes are listed within numbered menus (of which there are 100), with menu titles where given in the book. And finally, episode numbers are also included for menus and recipes which could be found in the episode listing.

This table of contents is in four sections:
  1. Table Of Contents
  2. Alphabetical Recipe Listing
  3. Further Readings, Viewings, and The Knife
  4. Appendix A, "A Collection of Limericks by Flarn"
This may very well turn into a continuous "work-in-progress" depending on how I use it, what other readers think of it, and of course, if Ms. Ray ever sees it. In view of this, please send corrections and suggestions to delmar@mvps.org.

An Index for "30 Minute Meals" (ISBN 1891105035)

Read It Here (92k) (thirtyminute.zip attached below)

This is an unofficial index for Rachael Ray's "30-Minute Meals" (Copyright 1998, Lake Isle Press, ISBN 1891105035). Ms. Ray had no part in the compilation of this index and, as far as I know, has not seen it.

The preparation of this index came from my own desire to have an index for my copy of the book. I've decided to release this publicly for the benefit of the book's other readers.

"30-Minute Meals" was published without an index. This makes it somewhat cumbersome when it comes to locating a recipe I may have prepared in the past. There are what may be termed "section headers" throughout the Table of Contents, however they can be difficult to use for locating a specific recipe as well.

Some additions for the book's Table of Contents have been inadvertently found through the preparation of this index. While the seventh batch of recipes in the "Great Gatherings" section were included in the book's Table of Contents (this is the "Five Fabulous Meatballs" section), the recipes for the first six menus were not. The titles and locations of these 26 recipes are included throughout this index.

This index is in four sections:
  1. Complete "Great Gatherings" Contents Listing
  2. Alphabetical Recipe Listing
  3. Subject Index
  4. Further Readings, Viewings, and The Knife

This may very well turn into a continuous "work-in-progress" depending on how I use it, what other readers think of it, and of course, if Ms. Ray ever sees it. In view of this, please send corrections and suggestions to delmar@mvps.org.
